Heavy Duty does not simply mean a stronger option for a standard vehicle. HD kits are intended only for Amaroks fitted with upgraded or heavier-rated rear leaf springs. If your Amarok still has its original factory springs, select Standard Duty.
Standard Duty or Heavy Duty?
Choosing the correct kit depends on the rear leaf springs currently fitted to your Amarok, not simply how much weight the vehicle carries or how often it tows.
Standard Duty
Choose Standard Duty when your Volkswagen Amarok still has its original factory rear leaf springs. This is the correct option for most standard vehicles, including Amaroks used for towing, touring, carrying canopies, tools or regular loads.
Heavy Duty
Choose Heavy Duty only when your Amarok has already been fitted with upgraded, reinforced or heavier-rated rear leaf springs. Heavy Duty is designed to work with those upgraded springs and is not the correct choice for a vehicle still running factory rear suspension.
